NURS 493 Skill Foundations V Preceptorship

This lab and precepted clinical course is designed to facilitate successful transition to the role of the professional nurse. Simulation will be completed prior to the beginning of the precepted practicum experience to prepare students for an intensive practice immersion provided at a designated clinical site. Students will be supported by the collaborative efforts of an experienced nurse as preceptor and assigned course faculty member in achieving course learning objectives and program outcomes. Students will work with their assigned faculty member to demonstrate evidenced-based practice and leadership skills.
