Black History Month Event —"The Meeting" and a Special Reading (Student Focused)

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X in conversation

Join us for a Black History Month celebration of art, culture, and conversation.

The event includes:

  • Theatrical Performance of The Meeting – a fictitious enactment of a meeting between Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm – begins at approximately 4:15 p.m.
  • A post-performance discussion
  • Reading of “Echo in the Distance” by Shayla Reeves

A light meal follows the event.
