The Office of Equity and Inclusion invites students, staff, and community members to a Women’s History Month event, Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future.
Location: Zoom
Our program centers the 2026 national theme that honors the women who are rebuilding systems—environmental, economic, educational, and societal—to ensure long term sustainability rooted in equity and justice. Their leadership reflects a commitment not only to addressing today’s challenges, but to creating conditions where future generations can thrive.
This gathering will offer space to reflect on the women who have shaped sustainable futures across communities, sectors, and movements. Through storytelling, dialogue, and shared learning, we will explore how women’s leadership continues to transform systems, expand opportunity, and model what it means to build a more just and sustainable world.
Details about speakers and program elements will be shared as they become available. For questions, please contact the Office of Equity and Inclusion at OEI@metrostate.edu.
