This presentation moves faculty past the initial panic over Generative AI (GenAI) and toward thought leadership. Facing a crisis of public trust in higher education, faculty must urgently redefine their value. This session provides practical strategies and a compelling rationale for integrating AI as a thought partner to enhance teaching, research, and institutional relevance. We shift the focus from policing AI use to leading with it, ensuring faculty are preparing students for a future where GenAI is standard technology.
