International Student Orientation Spring 2026

Every semester, International Student Services at Metro State provides an International Student Orientation to welcome newly admitted international students. The orientation covers information that directly affects international students, such as requirements for work authorization, traveling, health insurance, program extension, and tuition. Students will meet the ISS staff and review some important guidelines as they pertain to maintaining their F-1 student status.

During the orientation students will learn about some of the many other services offered at Metro State and have the opportunity to meet other international students. International student orientation provides essential information to assist new international students make a successful cultural and academic transition into their new settings. International student orientation is required for all new Metro State international students (both new to the U.S. and transfer students).

9–9:30 a.m. | Introduction to ISS and Metro State (Student Center 101)
