The Library Labyrinth: I mindful midday reset, Thursday, September 18, 12–12:30 p.m., a calming guided walk to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in the middle of a busy day, above a photo of the Metro State Labyrinth

Take a break from the stress of papers, projects, and deadlines and step into stillness at the Library Labyrinth.

Join librarian Jennifer DeJonghe outside the library for a calming guided walk on our labyrinth, a simple yet powerful mindfulness tool. Labyrinth walking offers a quiet space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in the middle of a busy day.

We’ll begin with a brief introduction to the history and purpose of labyrinths, followed by a group walk and optional debrief. You’ll also learn a few quick strategies for staying grounded during high-stress times.

Note: In case of rain, we’ll move indoors for a creative labyrinth drawing and reflection activity instead.
