Metro State’s Theater Underground is proud to present Ten Thousand Things Theater Company’s reimagined production of William Shakespeare’s Two Gentlemen of Verona, performed as Shakespeare’s Two Gents, on October 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Metro State Main Campus, Student Center, Room 101.

Two best friends—one who swears off love and one who leaps headlong into it—set out on their own journeys of self-discovery. Along the way, both are struck by Cupid’s unpredictable arrows. As passions clash and friendships are tested, it’s up to the women around them to set the chaos straight. Lovers, outlaws, servants, and suitors all collide in this identity-swapping, fast-paced, clownish comedy—infused with a distinctly feminist heart.

This special performance marks Caitlin Lowans’ directorial debut with Ten Thousand Things, with original music composed by Ryan Lee.

This presentation of Two Gents is free and open to the public.
