Biography

Brittany Tweed has fourteen years of experience in financial aid administration, compliance, and grant management. This includes more than five years of leadership experience. She has recently served as president of the Minnesota Association of Financial Aid Administrators (MAFAA), received a leadership award from the Regional Financial Aid Association (MASFAA), was the recipient of the MAFAA Special Achievement Award in 2021, and has been featured for aid expertise on Minnesota Public Radio.

She is an advocate for students, especially underrepresented students, which include those of varying abilities, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and all others. Lastly, she has dedicated her career to higher education because of her passion to assist students in attaining their goals and overcoming the fear of the complexities of financial aid.
