Biography

Ramin Daghigh joined the faculty of the Natural Sciences Department at Metropolitan State University in August 2006. Ramin is a theoretical physicist, whose research focusses on black holes and gravitational waves.

Previously, Daghigh worked at the University of Winnipeg as a postdoctoral fellow from 2004 to 2006, and Arkansas State University from 2003 to 2004 as a faculty member of the Chemistry and Physics Department. Ramin also held visiting scholar positions at the School of Mathematics and Physics of Queen's University Belfast in 2002, Winnipeg Institute for Theoretical Physics in 2012 and William I. Fine Theoretical Physics Institute in 2019.

Daghigh holds a master of science (MS) degree in physics from the Middle East Technical University and a doctorate (PhD) degree in physics from the University of Minnesota.
