CRIM 240 Minnesota Criminal and Traffic Codes

This course provides students with the knowledge and practical application of Minnesota criminal laws and traffic codes.

Note: Formerly known as LAWE 240. Prerequisite: CJS 101: Introduction to Criminal Justice, or instructor permission. Must be a School of Criminology and Criminal Justice student, or instructor permission.

  • Explain which laws are related to the elements of which crimes.
  • Identify the elements of major traffic and criminal codes.
