You may use your ID badge to access exterior doors that are equipped with a card reader.

Students or visitors without a badge may enter through:

  • Library Building — 1st floor, Door #55 (east main entrance – parking lot)
  • Founder’s Hall — Auditorium entrance, Door #23
  • Student Center — Entrance, Door #01 (nearest to the parking ramp)

HSCD 680 Practicum Preparation

Prior to entering practicum in substance use disorders (SUD) or co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders (COD) counseling, students must document readiness for clinical internship. In this workshop, participants complete necessary documentation, evaluate their self-care and support system, secure a practicum site and complete a Practicum Learning Agreement that will guide their development.

General

  • Documented academic readiness for clinical internship
  • Engaged in self-assessment consistent with expected standards of professionalism for counselor trainees
  • In collaboration with the practicum site supervisor, prepared a Practicum Learning Agreement that establishes clinical internship goals and activities
