NURS 492 Preparation for Licensure

The foundation of transition to practice is the successful completion of the NCLEX exam. This course will orient the student to the structure, purpose, and process of the NCLEX exam; and the process of obtaining RN licensure. Students will complete a standardized NCLEX predictor exam and use the results as a foundation for a self care and learning plan. This course is part of a competency-based nursing curriculum leading to the baccalaureate of science degree in nursing.
