RELS 303T Introduction to the Christian Scriptures (the New Testament) Theory Seminar
This course explores the various historical and religious factors that gave rise to the writing and editing of the Christian Scriptures (New Testament) in their Jewish and Greco-Roman context. Topics include the relationships of the Christian Scriptures to the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament), Paul's theology, the emerging church community and current academic methods of scriptural interpretation.
