From Urgency to Empowerment

The Center for Educational Innovation at Metro State invites all community and resident faculty, administration, and staff to a new weekly Zoom series this June: From Urgency to Empowerment: A June Conversation Series on Generative AI. These sessions are for anyone at Metro State who wants to share, learn, and explore GenAI’s impact on our work and students. No prior GenAI experience or RSVP needed. We’re offering space for shared curiosity, reflection, and connection.

Sessions take place on Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom. To help spark ideas, here are a few topics we’re ready to explore together: What’s at Stake? GenAI, Academic Integrity, and Trust; Communicating AI Expectations; How and Why to Cite AI; AI as a Teaching Partner.
