Data Center Move
The Minnesota State system office will be relocating one of the enterprise data centers. Consequently, most services hosted by the enterprise will be impacted during this maintenance period.
What this might mean for you
For new and prospective students, the primary impacted service will be StarID Self-Service.
Most IAM (authentication) services and services that rely on StarID will be available, however, StarID Self Service will have limited functionality:
- No new StarIDs will be created during the maintenance window.
- Passwords may be updated unless verification through Social Security Number is necessary.
- Universal Application for Admissions—Users without a StarID before the maintenance window will be affected. The application should function normally for everyone else.
