Major job duties
This position supports the University’s accreditation-related projects. The employee will be working with multiple digital files; including creating PDFs of Metro State web pages; organizing those PDFs according to specific naming conventions; and saving all PDFs per supervisor’s instruction.
Qualifications and experience
Qualifications: knowledge of standard office procedures; experience with Microsoft Office Suite; reading and analytical skills sufficient for data entry and data scraping projects; organizational skills sufficient to set up Excel workbooks and enter data extracted from Word and PDF documents; ability to review and organize digital files efficiently and accurately; proficient typing skills; database research skills sufficient to locate peer-reviewed articles in various databases. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial for this role.
Preferred qualifications: completed coursework or experience in managing information systems or information assurance.
