Learning outcomes
General
- Students in MIS 462 will learn he concepts related to managing diverse and distributed computing environments.
- Students will learn about enterprise architectures, integration of data and users, graphics and telephony illustrated through emphases on client/server and N-Tier architectures, Internet, intranet/extranet, and groupware and other technologies Including but not limited to: SOA; Cloud; Distributed Methods; Sockets and Ports; Firewalls; Distributed Processing; Stack Frame; Marshalling; Middleware; Security; Distributed File Systems; Name Services; Timing and Synchronization; Election and Multicasting; Transactions; Replication; Multimedia; Distributed Memory.
