The Psychology Department offers interesting and insightful courses covering diverse topics. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- How we think and learn
- Ways that children and adolescents develop
- Impacts of others on thoughts and behavior
- Normal and Abnormal personality
Students in psychology develop an understanding of the science of behavior and achieve skills in applying this knowledge to a variety of contexts. Most courses fulfill General Education and Liberal Studies (GELS) requirements. We offer a Psychology BA, Early Childhood Studies BAS and Psychology MA, as well as minors in six areas.
