April 12: Minnesota Association for Experiential Learning membership meeting

Metropolitan State faculty members are invited to the next Minnesota Association for Experiential Learning (MAFEL) membership meeting, 8:30–10:30 a.m., April 12 in New Main, Great Hall, Saint Paul Campus. This event includes presentations and small group discussion focused on creatively communicating and problem solving through conflict with interns.

MAFEL is a group of professionals in higher education and community organizations involved with experiential education, including:

  • internships
  • cooperative education
  • community service learning
  • field study/field based research practicums
  • other forms of active learning

MAFEL’s primary focus is maximizing the value of academic internships for students, sites and schools. Membership information is available at this link.
