Metro State awards spots in an intensive training program to members of My Zambia, My Responsibility team

Saint Paul, Minnesota (May 4, 2023) — Metro State University in Minnesota awarded six seats in a May 2023 training program to the 'My Zambia My Responsibility' team for an intensive training program on Substance Use Disorders and Social and Behavior Change. The seats were awarded following a successful Stakeholders Consultative Conference themed 'Drug and Alcohol Abuse Among Adolescents in Zambia.' Participants included representatives from the Zambia Drug Enforcement Commission, Metro State University, the University of Zambia, the National AIDS Council, the National Arts Council, Chainama Hospital, Africa Directions, Sanity Rehabilitation Centre, Decisive Minds, Correctional Services, Churches, concerned individuals, survivors/advocates, parents, and the media.
