Biography

Dr. Donnamaria Culbreth is an assistant professor of Management, Entrepreneurship, and Human Resource Management in the College of Management a where she focuses on DEI, serves on various committees, and is the faculty advisor to the Diverse and Inclusive Student Community Organization (DISCO).


Interdisciplinary research focuses on colorism, DEI, and anti-racism issues impacting BIPOC women in the workplace, inclusive and exclusive work environments, DEI, anti-racism and colorism risk assessments and conflict management, and equity issues impacting BIPOC students in higher education.

In addition to research and writing projects, she is the founder of the Colorism Project, Inc., and the Colorism Institute, Inc., (501 (c) (3) organizations), founder of the Ronald E. Hall Conference on Colorism, editor-in-chief of the Journal of Colorism Studies (JOCS), and founder and CEO of the National Girls and Women of Color Council, Inc. (NGWCC), a 501 (c) (3) organization where she is a mentor in the PACE Mentoring Program.
