Alumni Career Experience

Metro Graduates and soon to be graduates, join the Career Center in kicking off a successful job search. The Alumni Career Experience is a half day workshop where attendees will have the opportunity to hear from local experts on resume writing, interviewing skills, everything you ever wanted to know about LinkedIn and more! This half day workshop will put you on the path to a successful job search and leave you with new connections.

Alumni Career Experience attendees will:

• Learn about resumes and have the opportunity for your resume to be reviewed by a hiring professional
• Take a professional headshot for your LinkedIn profile and gain insights on how to use LinkedIn in your job search
• Complete a mock interview with a hiring professional
• Build your professional network with local employers and other Metro alumni

What: The Alumni Career Experience: A supportive career conference designed to get you ready for a successful job search.

Who: You—if you have graduated from Metro State or will graduate by August 2023, you are invited to participate.

When: In academic year 2022–23, Alumni Career Experience conferences are scheduled for: Thursday, January 5, 2023, and Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 1–5 p.m.
